Refund policy

At Jars of Love, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help, within reason and in line with hygiene standards.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange.

 

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging.
  • The product must be in the same condition as received.
  • Proof of purchase is required (receipt, order confirmation email).
  • For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or used menstrual products or consumables. See list below.

 

Items That Cannot Be Returned

Due to health, hygiene, and safety regulations, the following items are non-returnable once opened:

  • Gaia Menstrual Disc (only sealed discs in original packaging can be returned)
  • Body creams, reusable period pads, or any opened personal care items
  • Herbal teas, cacao, medicinal mushroom capsules, and other edibles/consumables
  • Gift cards, discounted items, or sale promotions

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at orders@jarsoflove.co.za with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll respond within 1–2 business days with instructions.
  3. Once approved, you may send the product to:

Please do not send any products back without receiving prior approval.

 

Who Covers Shipping?

Unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item), return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.
We do not currently offer free returns.

 

Exchanges

Need a different product or size?
We recommend completing the return first. Once approved, you can place a new order for the replacement.

 

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your returned item, you’ll be notified of the approval status.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • It may take additional time for your bank or card provider to reflect the refund.
